EXTERNSHIP

We offer 1-2 week externships for dental students interested in pursuing a career in oral and maxillofacial surgery. During your time at Highland Hospital, you will be exposed to oral and maxillofacial surgery and will be expected to participate in the following:

• Observing in the operating room for major surgeries

• Daily rounds 

• Consults in the emergency and trauma departments 

• Work in the outpatient and diagnostic clinics 

• Taking call with the residents 

• Weekly seminars and lectures
